Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara state has directed all 14 local government councils chairmen for the sake of ensuring crime-free society, to utilise their resources to develop more programmes meant for entertaining social needs for the teeming orphans to have sense of belonging.
Yari, who gave the directive while hosting three hundred orphans during Sallah celebrations at his Talata Mafara resident, stressed the need for the state and local governments as well as well to do individuals to sacrifice their wealth in complimenting efforts towards giving orphans parental care.
“Orphans should be shown positive concern and provide them with all that would make them feel that they still have parental support in digesting problems which prevent hopes for bright future like any other parented child in the society so that, they would be morally grown up as brothers keepers,” Yari has stated.
