European Clubs Battle for Osimhen Signature

Super Eagles rave of the moment striker, Victor Osimhen is a attracting suitors from different European clubs following the brilliant start to his career at Ligue 1 club Lille.
Le10sport is reporting that top European clubs have contacted Lille over the availability of the Nigeria international, without revealing the identities of his suitors.
Signed from Sporting Charleroi for a transfer fee of twelve million euros in the summer, the striker’s market value has increased as he is one of Lille’s most valuable assets.
Although it is not impossible, Les Dogues are unlikely to part company with Osimhen in the January transfer window.
With seven goals in nine appearances, the Super Eagles star is topping the goalscoring chart in the French Ligue 1, ahead of more experienced strikers such as Moussa Dembele (Lyon), Neymar (PSG) and Slimani (Monaco).
Osimhen, who is contracted to Lille until the end of the 2023-2024 season, has reported for international duty with Nigeria ahead of their friendly with Brazil this Sunday.
