Ex IPAC boss asks senate to swap Orji Kalu with Uwajimogu as Chief Whip

The Former Chairman of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Osita Okereke has urged the Senate leadership to relinguish the position of the Senate Chief Whip to Senator Ben Uwajimogu.
The IPAC ex- Chairman stated this while speaking with reporters in Abuja, adding that senator Uwajumogu is one of the High Ranking Senator From The South East Political Zone that should be nominated and confirm for the office.
Chief Okereke Who Is Also The Former Presidential Candidate In The 2003 And 2007 General Election has Observed That The South -east Zone Could Not Be Robbed To Pay For What Its Never Bargain For By Remaining Vacant and vacuum.
According To Ex-IPAC boss,”The Office Of the Senae Chief Whip Is Not A Personal Office That Should Be Viewed From A Personal Stand Point”.The Office Has Been Zoned To The South-East Political Zone By The Current Leadership Of The Senate And There Should Be No Vacuim” He Emphasized.
He also Observed That With The Immediate Appointment Of A Vibrant And Senior Ranking Personality Like Senator Ben Uwajimoku For the position Of Senate Chief Whip, The South-east People Would Have many Reasons To Smile Because Of Senator Uwajimokun”s Experience And Pragmatism.
The Former Presidential Candidate for the 2003 and 2007 Noted Further “We Are Not Unaware Of What Is Going On Respecting The current office of the Chief Whip of the senate, Hence Our Determination To Push For Another High Ranking Senator With Experience From The Zone To Occupy The position For The Benefit Of The Zone And Its People.

Chief Okereke Maintained That The Interest Of The Political Zone Must Always Be Represented At Every Given point in Time Adding That There Should Be No Vacuim.
