Ex Minister Nnaji, Adeyemi “fake agency DG”, to be arraigned Monday, Tuesday

Former Minister of Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji and Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the Director-General (DG) of a “non-existent” Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) are to be arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, Monday, July 13 and Tuesday, July 14, respectively.

While the former minister will be arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC), Prince Adeyemi on his part is expected to be arraigned by the police.

President Bola Tinubu directed the former minister to resign after he was alleged to be involved in certificate forgery.

He was said to have forged University of Nigeria Degree certificate and that of the National Youth Service Corp, NYSC.

The police, on its part, in a fresh court document marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, presently charged Adeyemi and two others with eight counts of forgery and impersonation, among others.

The charge was filed on Nov. 27, 2025, by Wisdom Madaki, a police prosecutor.

According to the court documents, the witnesses listed in the case are the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila; Paul Emmanuel; Jeremiah Imoukhede; and Ituah Sylvester.

Other witnesses are civil servants working in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (AGoF), Akimbo Shola and Adamu Balongu, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, who were on the list.
