EYN Church berates president Buhari, INEC on security, economy

The Leadership of the EYN Church of the Brethren in Nigeria has expressed reservations and concerns over the wide outcry that greeted the just concluded presidential and National Assembly elections in the country.
Position of the church was disclosed by the EYN President,Rev.Joel Stephen Billi at the 100th anniversary (Centenary) ceremony held on the 15th-16th March,2023 at the EYN Headquarters in Kwarhi,Hong local government area of Adamawa state, stressing that the election was characterised by thuggery, violence and manipulations.
Rev.Billi said the outcry attested to the fact that the process was allegedly manipulated in several places, noting that the development was not only sad but an insult to the collective sensibilities of Nigerians.
