The Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Dr Muheeba Farida Dankaka, has recognised the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), Hon Yazid Shehu Umar Danfulani, for his outstanding contributions to national development.

Danfulani received a special award from the FCC Chairman during a courtesy visit to the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday.

The award, according to Dr Dankaka, symbolises appreciation for Danfulani’s dedication to public service and his commitment to advancing national interests through the agricultural insurance sector.

“We are proud to honour Hon Danfulani for his efforts and leadership in strengthening agricultural insurance and supporting national growth,” she stated.

The visit provided an opportunity for both agencies to reaffirm their commitment to collaboration in promoting fairness and inclusivity in national development strategies.

Danfulani expressed gratitude for the recognition and pledged continued service to the nation, particularly in enhancing insurance coverage for farmers.

He noted that institutions like NAIC and the FCC must continue to work hand in hand to ensure that federal character principles are upheld in all sectors.
