The Village Head of Gbessan Community in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Alhaji Musa Yetu, has tasked the Muslims to always tolerate one another for the sake of togetherness.
Yetu, who gave the charge in an interview with Peoples Daily Correspondent during the Sallah celebration in the community, also urged the Muslims to continue to live in peace with everybody irrespective of religious inclinations.
He further called on both Muslims and Christians to deem it necessary to pray for the unity of the country.
The Gbessan Community leader thanked the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation for distributing cow meats to the residents of the FCT during the Eid-Kabir celebration.
In another development, the Gbessan Village Head urged the married couples to always respect their husbands, as he gave out his daughter, Princess Nama Safiya Musa for marriage.
He therefore, advised his daughter to be submissive to her husband, saying that marriage is all about mutual understanding.
Princess Nana Safiya Musa was wedded to Mallam Musa Yahaya of Chibiri Village in Kuje Area Council.
