FCT: Gwagwalada Chairman appoints traditional rulers for Giri, Rafin Zurfin

The Executive Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Abubakar Jibrin Giri, has appointed a District Head for Giri Community as well as one District Head/Village Head in Rafin Zurfin Community.
The District Head of Giri Community, Alhaji Usman Mohammed on Saturday celebrated his chieftaincy coronation at Giri in a colourful manner.
Also, the District Head of Rafin Zurfin in Gwagwalada Area Council, Pastor Isaiah Sarki as well as the Village Head of Rafin Zurfin, Mallam Yunusa Dikko Musa had celebrated their Chieftaincy installation at their community with the attendance of the Executive Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council.
In his speech at Rafin Zurfin, the Executive Chairman of the Area Council, Hon. Abubakar Jibrin Giri, Charged the residents to always live in peace with one another irrespective of their religious differences.
Jibrin Giri noted that no community would develop in the atmosphere of rancor and acrimony, and called for peaceful existence among the residents.
Also, speaking at the Chieftaincy celebration of the District Head of Giri community, the Vice Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, Hon. Abdullahi Saidu Zuba, urged the entire royal fathers in Gwagwalada to embrace one another.
He also advised the traditional rulers irrespective of their status to respect the constituted authority, tasking them to be law-abiding citizens.
Saidu Zuba thanked the Zuba Chiefdom for making things possible during the turbaning ceremony of the Royal Fathers, and urged Monarchs to love one another.
