FCT minister tasked on reconstruction of Deidei-Dakwa Bridge

The District Head of Jibi in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Abdullahi Madaki, has called on the FCT minister Malam Muhammad Musa Bello as well as the chairman of Bwari Area Council, Mr. Abdullahi Dikko to as a matter of urgency to re-construct Deidei-Dakwa bridge that was about to collapse in the interest of motorists plying the road.
Madaki, made the call in an interview with newsmen in his palace in Deidei, also urged the minister to provide additional transformers in Jibi/Deidei communities to boost electricity there.
He specifically charged the chairman of Bwari Area Council to drill boreholes in Jibi/Deidei communities to enable the residents have access to potable drinking water in the area.
He pleaded with the minister to carry the district heads as well as village heads along in the scheme of things, while requesting the minister to give official vehicles to them in order to carry out their duties effectively at their respective communities.
When asked on the security situation of the area, Madaki said the policemen alongside the vigilante groups were working hard to combat crime in the area, and urged the government of Bwari Area Council to give the recognition to the vigilante group in terms of their welfare.
The traditional ruler, however, said his leadership had been partnering with the tribal chiefs for the sake of peaceful co-existence in the area.
