The District Head of Gui community in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Alhassan Yusuf, has called on FCT minister, Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello to deem it necessary to repair the dilapidated road at Gui community for the sake of commuters plying the road.
He also charged the minister to repair the dilapidated hospital being constructed by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and abandoned in the community.
Alhassan Yusuf, who made the call in an interview with Peoples Daily Correspondent during the celebration of Eid- el – Kabir on Saturday, further urged the minister to provide portable drinking water for the people in the community.
He said he would continue to co- operate and support the FCT Administration for the overall development of Gui community.
On his Sallah message, he called on the traditional rulers to carry their subjects along in the scheme of things, while advising the youths to desist from unnecessary drinking during the festivity.
Commenting on the security challenges facing the country, the District Head appealed to the Federal Government to provide enough equipment to the security agencies to enable them wage war against insurgents.
