National Association of Nigerian Traders(NANT) Abuja branch has solicited for support in form of soft loan as well as low income shops and markets from the government to enable them contribute and support the society and country at large.

Speaking with this medium in an exclusive interview yesterday, the chairman of the union in the FCT, Ambassador Prince Edozie Ugwu commended the government for its magnanimity and benevolence to some traders through soft loans as part of measures to cushion the effect of covid 19 pandemic in the territory.

He appealed to the FCT authority and government at large to do more for traders, disclosing that most members did not benefit from the benevolence.

Ambassador Ugwu noted with happiness that traders whom he identified as the engine room of the economy.
