A businessman based in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr John Emmanuel, has accused the FCT Administration of abandoning the General Hospital Project which was initiated by the former minister of the FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed.
Emmanuel, who made the accusation in an interview with Peoples Daily correspondent in Gwagwalada on Monday, saying that the General Hospital Project is situated in Kuntuku community along Jeremiah Hussaini road in Gwagwalada.
He revealed that the General Hospital was surrounded by bushes, while the glasses fixed into the widows were removed by thieves, as the FCTA had refused to summon the contractors to complete the project.
He then said if the General Hospital is completed by the present government of the FCT Administration, it would assist the residents of the area to meet up with their medical treatment.
He, however, tongue-lashed the FCT minister of state, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu of failing to visit the site of the hospital project when she embarked on a tour to Gwagwalada last year.
