FG declares Wednesday Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, October 1, 2014 as Public Holiday to mark Nigeria’s 54th Independence Anniversary.
The Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, made the declaration on behalf of the Government, in a statement issued yesterday by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Engr. Magaji A.G.
The minister congratulated all Nigerians both at home and abroad, urging them to build a more united and virile nation that will be the pride of all Nigerians wherever they live.
The minister also enjoined them to use the period of the Public Holiday to reflect on the giant strides made by government in the development of the country towards building a more formidable Nigeria
