The Federal government has pledge to address all economic, political and social challenges bedeviling the country with a view to enhance quality of life of Nigerians.
Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman disclosed the development at a town hall meeting held in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, stressing that, President Tinubu is fully aware of the situation in the country and working 24 hours to address those concerns.
Professor Mamman said President Tinubu has done a lot for Nigeria within the one year of his administration and more would be achieved in the next three years, urging citizens to be patient and supportive of the administration for more dividends of democracy.
Mamman caution Nigerians especially the youths to shield or abort the planned national protest slated for August 1, 2024, highlighting some achievements recorded by the present President Tinubu’s regime to include; local governments autonomy for development at the grassroots, increase in students scholarship, students loans scheme, N70,000 minimum wage among others.
The Minister appealed to Nigerians not to partake in the nationwide protest for peaceful coexistence and more dividend of democracy in the country.
The meeting was attended by a large section of Adamawa citizens including students unions, youth leaders, market women, people living with disability (PLWD), political and religious leaders provided a turf were critical national challenges were honestly discussed.
