FIFA, CAF delegation meets over NFF leadership crisis

A joint delegation of world football governing body, FIFA, and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is in a meeting with NFF management and Congress at the NFF headquarters in Abuja.

The meeting came ahead of a crucial football stakeholders’ meeting sheduled to hold this evening in Abuja.

Security agencies, including operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force, have tightened security at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) secretariat, preventing unauthorised persons including top officials of the National Institute for Sports (NIS) from gaining access.
