Finance Minister Proposes N105,000 In New Minimum Wage Template

Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, has presented a new minimum wage template to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, meeting the 48-hour deadline.

Edun, along with the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Atiku Bagudu, presented President Tinubu with the cost implications of the new minimum wage in his office at the presidential villa in Abuja, on Thursday.

It is gathered that the Tinubu is currently reviewing the proposal with an official announcement expected to be made soon.

It was reported earlier that Edun after meeting the president said “there is no cause for alarm,” but refused to comment on the report.
