Country Director, Actionaid Nigeria Mrs. Ene Obi has called for thorough investigation into the use of Ecological funds by State governors.
Mrs. Ene blamed the incessant flooding that has displaced thousands of people across the country to mismanagement of Ecological funds by State governors as well as adamant refusal by Federal government to dredge Rivers Niger and Benue.
The Actionaid boss made this laamentation at the weekend in Agatu local government area of Benue State during the distribution of relief materials to victims of Herdsmen attack and flood.
