Former ECOWAS boss extols virtues of Tukur

The immediate past Secretary-General of ECOWAS and representative of the United Nations Secretary General for West Africa, Ambassador Ibn Mohammed Chambas has described the commitment of Alhaji Bamanga Tukur towards Africa’s integration and development as total and overwhelming.

He said that Alhaji Bamanga Tukur’s struggle for the African Continent does not have any ethnic or tribal colouration.

Ambassador Chambas made these statements when he paid an official visit to Ambassador Bamanga Tukur who is Nigeria’s Ambbassador-at-Large in Abuja yesterday.

He said, “African Continent requires the presence and commitment of people like Alhaji Tukur to develop and be properly integrated with other developed countries in the world.
