The former Chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigerian, SWAN, FCT Chapter, Kayode Adeniyi has been appointed into a highly referred Nigeria Union of Journalist, NUJ media games committee by the President of Union, Mr. Chris Isiguzo
According the appointment letter made available, Kayode Adeniyi and eight others are saddled with the responsibility of organising sporting events periodically for the union.
In an interview Kayode said “This is a call to serve of which I am very pleased to have been picked among many journalists in the country”
He added further that “journalists don’t have time to relax because we are always working morning, afternoon and night but the President who knows the importance of sports and a former sports writer himself has deemed it fit to make sports part of the activities of the association which is a laudable thing and which I am very happy to be part of”
Other members of the committee are Mohammed She who will act as chairman with Ignatius Okpara, Debo Oshundun, Agabus Pwanagba, Sadiq Martins, Ado Salisu and Ahmed Aighona serving as members while Wale Ayodele will act as secretary.
