Former Minister for Justice, Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN, Director-General, National Agency For Food, Drug, Administration and Control, Dr. Paul Orhii, Managing Director, NEXIM bank, Mr. Robert Orya amongst other stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ushongo, Benue North Senatorial district have endorsed Governor Gabriel Suswam as the party’s sole aspirant for the senatorial seat.
The endorsement was held yesterday in Lessel, headquarter of Ushongo local government.
The erstwhile Justice Minister, who spoke on behalf of top stakeholders from the area, noted that Governor Suswam has performed well to deserve to be at the upper chamber of the National Assembly to legislate for the well being of the constituency.
Responding, Governor Gabriel Suswam appreciated the people for the confidence reposed in endorsing him, assuring that if elected, he would attract developmental projects to the area.
The Governor who also received thousands of All Progressives Congress (APC) members who defected to the PDP, promising them of equal treatment while urging them to work hard for the success of the party in next year’s general election.
