Katsina peoples forum has blamed the state elites for the many ills bedevilling the state. The chairman of the forum, Engineer Musa Abdullahi stated this while speaking at the maiden meeting of the forum in katsina. “ the degeneration of affairs in the state is largely due to our collective negligence and indifferennce to events,issues and happenings in the state” he added. He lamented that when things are going bad the elites fold their arms without doing anything.
He said “ our individual fault is that we have withdrawn ourselves, deserted the state and created our individual comfort zones in Abuja,Kaduna, Kano here in Katsina and elsewhere”.
The chairman stressed that the forum is open to all indigenes of the state. adding that the is working to restore the lost glory of the state. In his remark, Governor Aminu Bello Masari has commended the forum
