Forum commends Tinubu, Gov Sule, others over rehabilitation of Keffi-Nasarawa-Toto road

A non governmental organization (NGO) Keffi 70s 80s Elites Forum, has expressed its gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for finally awarding the rehabilitation of Keffi-Nasarawa- Toto road.
The Forum also commended the roles played by the Governor of Nasarawa state, Engr Abdullahi Sule and Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada to bring work into fruition.
A statement issued yesterday by the Chairman of the Forum, Comrade Lawal Ramalan Maizabo, thanked the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, for mobilizing contractors to site.
It said: “This landmark decision underscores Mr. President’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural renewal, economic integration, and the overall development of our nation. The Keffi–Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji corridor remains a major gateway linking Nasarawa State to the Federal Capital Territory and other parts of the country, therefore, its rehabilitation will undoubtedly enhance mobility, trade, commerce and security in the region.
“ The Forum remains confident that with the continued collaboration among these visionary leaders, the rehabilitation of the Keffi–Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji Road will be executed to the highest standard and completed within schedule, thereby fulfilling the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration.”
The Forum said: “on behalf of the people of Keffi and the adjoining communities of Nasarawa and Toto Local Government Area, in Nasarawa West Senatorial District of Nasarawa State, extends our profound appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Commander In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the gracious approval and subsequent award of the contract for the rehabilitation of the Keffi–Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji Road in our senatorial District.
“The Forum also wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, for his tireless and strategic engagement in ensuring the success of this project.
“His persistent advocacy and constructive collaboration with the Presidency and relevant federal authorities played a vital role in securing the Federal Government’s approval for the award of contract of the project.
“Our sincere gratitude equally goes to the Honourable Minister of Works, His Excellency, Engr. David Umahi, for his prompt mobilisation of personnel and machinery towards the inspection and early commencement of the rehabilitation works on the road.
“His proactive leadership and commitment to quality delivery have rekindled public confidence in government’s infrastructural initiatives on roads’ projects.”
It also “recognizes with deep respect the outstanding efforts of Distinguished Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District whose consistent follow-ups, advocacy, and coordination at various levels of government were instrumental in achieving this great milestone.”
It prayed for “continued guidance, wisdom, and strength for all our leaders as they strive to advance the progress and prosperity of our dear nation.”
