Foundation donates books, uniforms to 10 schools in Sokoto

As part of its commitment to supporting education and promoting access to quality learning, Usman Abubakar Kesoje Charity Foundation has distributed exercise books and school uniforms to 10 selected schools in Shagari Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
The distribution ceremony was graced by the Education Secretary of the local government, who was represented by the Deputy Education Secretary, Muhammad A. Muhammad.
Also present were the Quality Assurance Officer, Mubarak Aliyu Ado; Head of School Services, Mukhtar Shagari; the Mobilization Officer, Dan Bello Sani; and the Area Quality Assurance Officer for Kajiji Area, alongside other education stakeholders.
Representing the foundation, Mallam Bashiru Kesoje, reaffirmed the commitment of Hon. Usman Abubakar Kesoje to community development, particularly in the area of education.
 He stated that the foundation will continue to support initiatives that improve the learning environment and encourage school enrolment and retention.
In his remarks, the Deputy Education Secretary, on behalf of the Education Secretary, expressed sincere appreciation to the foundation for its generous support.
He described the donation as a timely intervention that would benefit pupils across the beneficiary schools.
He further called on other well-meaning individuals, philanthropists, and organizations to emulate the noble gesture of Hon. Usman Abubakar Kesoje, emphasizing that providing quality education for all is a shared responsibility.*
The event concluded with the successful distribution of the exercise books and school uniforms to the beneficiary schools, marking another significant step towards enhancing teaching and learning in Shagari LGA.
