At least four persons have been reportedly killed by suspected armed bandits in Aila Odugheho, Agatu local government
Chairman of the council, Melvin James who confirmed this to newsmen, said the attackers ambushed the community in the early hours of Sunday and carried out the dastardly act.
He also, intimated that the council has devised new security strategies that makes it difficult to attack and overrun any community hence, the bandits have resorted to ambush which is a little complex to confront.
Melvin however, stated that clearance operation has commenced to rid community forest of bandits.
Out correspondent reports that all efforts to get confirmation from the Police proved abortive.
