From robotic arms to dexterous hands: China’s “fingertip skills”

At the 2026 World Robot Conference, we saw China’s robotic hands in action, from welding cars on factory lines to sorting packages in warehouses, from making coffee to sensing a feather landing on a robotic palm. They’re not perfect yet. The real challenge ahead is making these systems reliable, flexible and useful beyond the lab or the show floor.
