In its efforts to put the Federal University of Transportation Daura unto a solid but formidable foundation, the Vice-Chancellor signed MoU on behalf of the University with Deqing Association for Geospatial Information Professionals, China in the field of Geospatial and Technology, Training and Applications and Russian University of Transportation.
This was disclosed by the Chief Information and Communication Officer of the University, Umar Usman
He said the Vice Chancellor has attended a summit in Zimbabwe, saying the result is expected to provide both the lecturers and students sound but standard education on transportation in the University.
According to the statement, “Locally, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Umar Adam Katsayal, mni had undertaken many visitations to relevant MDAs such as the NCC, NIMASA, Nigerian Shippers’ Council, NITT, NTI, NCAT, NRC, among others; with the aim of linking the University with relevant stakeholders, regulators and practitioners in the field of transportation industry for a rapid growth and development of the young University.
