Ganduje appoints broadcaster, Zahra’u as media aide

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has appointed Zahara’u Nasir Ahmed as Senior Special Assistant,  Special Broadcast.

The appointment, according to Ganduje’s Chief Press Secretary, Abba Anwar, is with immediate effect. 

He said her appointment according to the governor, was after diligent scrutiny of her vast experience in broadcast journalism “with due regards to her strive to attain high level of professionalism at all cost,” he explained. 

“I am congratulating you for your new appointment as the Senior Special Assistant, Special Broadcast, to the Governor. You should try your best to also prove your mettle,” he advised. 

After praying for her success, governor Ganduje directed her to work assiduously in tandem with other media aides and stick to professionalism and accepted standard for the practice. 

Adding that, “As we are now in modern technology era, as such, you should strive hard and make sure that your activities are IT-based, all in an effort to comply with global best practice.”

Speaking to Peoples Daily correspondent, the newly appointed SSA expressed delight about the appointment.

She also expressed gratitude to Governor Ganduje for finding her worthy to work in his government.

Mrs Ahmed therefore vowed to heed to the governor’s advices on professionalism as well as world standard of journalism practice.
