The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdulahi Ganduje on Tuesday expressed his excitement over the blossoming relationship between Nigeria and South Korea.
Ganduje spoke yesterday when he hosted the Ambassador of Korea, Mr. Kim Pankyu at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja.
He said he was honoured to be part of those involved in the consolidation of the bilateral relationship between Nigeria and South Korea.
The former governor of Kano state lauded Korean for successfully hosting the recent Korea/African Summit where he noted that Nigeria participated very effectively.
While expressing the willingness of the President Bola Tinubu led administration to rebound the country’s economy, Ganduje appealed to Korea to assist Nigeria to develop her Blue Economy given it’s vast knowledge in water activities.
He equally stressed the need for the ruling parties of both Nigeria and Korea continue to collaborate and fashion out how best to support their respective governments, due to the ever increasing demands of their people.
The APC boss thanked the envoy for showing interest in the activities of the country, promising that Nigeria will continue to be a dependable ally to the people and government of Korea.
Earlier in his remarks, the Korean ambassador to Nigeria, Kim Pankyu said he was delighted that cooperation between Nigeria and South Korea is increasing in different areas including; business, military, sports and culture.
Pankyu said he is happy with the economic policies of the federal government, adding that they would eventually take the country to the desired economic prosperity.
He further assured that the government of Korea will continue to collaborate with Nigeria to strengthen the bilateral ties that have been existing between the two countries.
