Ganduje’s charges Youth to leverage on proposed Summit

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdulahi Ganduje has urged the youths to take full advantage of the proposed National Youth Summit which President Bola Tinubu said his administration would organize for them.
Ganduje spoke on Monday in his office when he paid host to the Director General of the National Productivity Center, Dr. Baffa Dan-Agundi who led members of his management who paid him a courtesy call.
He charged them to always be patriotic to the nation adding that the current hardship is only going to be for a moment.
“You know Mr. President in his last independence day speech, said he will give the young men and women (the youths) the chance to discuss issues pertaining to Nigeria.
“And this is a preparatory ground for that because you’re mobilizing men and women whose concern is to see they can be protective, they can improve the state as a party – improve the living conditions of the teeming Nigerians”.
The former governor of Kano state said that he is equally optimistic that the Director General would deliver on his responsibilities.
“Since your appointment, what we have seen is productivity. Productivity, there’s no doubt, contributes to national GDP, and any organization which is not productive is a liability. So we are appointing you, an action man to bring productivity.
“So, when you were appointed also as a member of the national campaign Council, you did a lot in mobilizing you young men and women for our party and we could see the impact, we won the election overwhelmingly.
“So, I’m not surprised now that you’re mobilizing young men and women- very active. They are not looking for funds from the government, but looking for funds from sources of what we called corporate social responsibility “.
Earlier in his remarks, the Director General, Dr. Dan-Agundi said he was at the party secretariat to thank Ganduje and President Tinubu for the confidence they reposed in him, even as he promised that he will not disappoint them.

He equally reassured that in the next one year, he would in conjunction with governors of the North West states organize a forum to showcase what his agency has achieved.
