In a bid to promote indigenous languages and culture especially amongst the youth in the country, Gbagyi National Anthem and Pledge translator, Amb. Yusuf Salihu Kuta has called for patriotism and unity in the country.
Salihu Kuta made the disclosure while teaching students and pupils of about 10 schools on how to recite the national anthem and pledge in Gbagyi language in Minna.
He maintained that no fewer than 600 schools have benefited from the training program since he started about 20 years ago.
He expressed joy over the acceptance of his efforts and urged other tribes in the state and Nigeria to emulate same so as to enable younger generation know the value of the national anthem and national pledge.
