The Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT, Hon. Abubakar Jibrin Giri, who was represented by Hon. Ishaq Salihu Kaura as well as S.A to the minister of state for the FCT on the Area Councils and Chieftaincy affairs were among the special guests who attended the APC South-South forum inauguration/unveiling of the APC flag bearers on Saturday in Gwagwalada.
Speaking at the inauguration, Giri solicited the support of the South-South People in 2022 election, urging them to remain committed to the victory of the party always.
He said he would continue to partner with the APC South-South forum for the purpose of oneness.
The Gwagwalada APC Chairman candidate appreciated the South-South People for organizing the ceremony.
Earlier, the APC Caretaker Chairman in Gwagwalada, Alhaji Ahmed Baba said the authority of the APC in Gwagwalada and FCT at large would not hesitate to take the APC South-South Forum along in the scheme of things.
He called on the South-South People to deem it necessary to vote for the APC flag bearers in 2022 election in the area
On his part, the Dean, Faculty of Arts at the university of Abuja , Prof. Effiok Bassey Uwatt who was the royal father of the day urged the elected politicians to provide gains of democracy for the masses at all times.
