Hundreds of people from Tunburku village of Kidadan in Giwa Local Government area of Kaduna State stormed the Emir of Zazzau Palace in protest over daily killings and kidnappings by the bandits.
Speaking to the protesters the emir of Zazzau Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli advised them to always follow the proper channels of making complains to the authorities.
Emir Bamalli said the issues of insecurity in Giwa Local Government are on the top agenda of Kaduna State Government as serious attention is given to bringing the situation under control.
He added that the state security council had thrown its attention to that area because of the daily reports it received from the district head to the Emirate for quick attention.
Bamalli noted with concern that the security challenges in the Zazzau emirate are a worried issue that proactive measures have to be taken.
The emir sympathised with the entire communities in the affected areas urged them to remain humble and assured them that the moment would come to their assistance in having a secure environment.
He prayed to Allah to grant the deceased Aljannah Firdausi a very quick recovery for the injured ones.
On the already kidnapped people, he assured them that by God, they would be rescued unhurt and reunited with them.
