This principle is upheld to varying degrees around the world, the complete and adaptable implementation of the rule of law on a global scale could have extensive consequences, both positive and negative.
Implementation of the rule of law globally would significantly support the protection of human rights. Institutions that respect the rule of law are more likely to safeguard individual liberties, ensuring that rights such as liberty, freedom of speech and religion are protected.
