Conscience lawyers in Gombe state have condemned an alleged rigging plot of Governorship and State House of Assembly elections by the All Progressives Congress (APC ).
The spokesman of the group Barr. Luka Haruna made the condemnation while briefing Journalists in Gombe on Tuesday.
He said it won’t be good for the ruling party, APC, in the state to rig an elections in favour of the sitting governor without peoples mandate.
Barr Haruna however explained that the dismantling of security check points within Gombe and its environs ahead of Governorship and state House of Assembly elections schedule for 18th of March will give political thugs free movement to cause mayhem.
He argued that such act will not only cause mayhem but will equally frustrate the electoral process.
