Gombe: Dankwambo vows to execute more infrastructure

Gombe state governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has vowed to execute more infrastructures in Gombe in order to transform livingstandard of the people.

The governor who was represented by the state commissioner of finance , Alhaji Hassan Muhammadu who stated this at a press briefing yesterday in Gombe also assured the public that Dankwambo

administration is committed to transform the lives of citizens in the state.

Speaking to newsmen on the 2015 proposed budget, the statecommissioner of finance said arrangement has been put in place to ensure that year 2015 would be a fruitful year where every citizen

taste the dividend of democracy, adding that the preparation of the2015 budget came in a time when the country is facing a globaldecline in oil prices.

According to him, the decrease in the size of 2015 budget against 2014 was because the present administration want to be realistic in the projection of 2015 income which he said the expenditure would impact the lives of the public in the state.

The commissioner stressed that in the New Year government would ensure that internally generated revenue are effectively collected and remitted to government in order to augment the shortfall in federal allocated revenues, stressing that all leakages will be locked and penalties would be enforced for tax evaders.

He maintained that government will also ensure optimum utilization of resources within the approved budget..
