Gombe state governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has advised that leaders should implore active leadership to ease hardship among the populace.
The governor made the statement on Tuesday at Yalmatu-Deba while flagging off the distribution of palliative to beneficiaries.
He said about 75 percent of leaders have contributed to failure of change where masses are suffering without economic base.
According to him, this two countries are the high producers of wheat, fertilizer and rice.
He also said the middle class has their shortcomings and appealed to them to always be patient and give their leaders necessary support to strive.
While flagging off the distribution of the palliative, governor Yahaya explained that the dissemination of the palliative was aimed at cushioning the suffering of the people.
He said the palliatives will benefit 420,000 beneficiaries in the state.
