Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Dan Majen Gombe) has approved the appointment of Caretaker Chairmen for the Eleven (11) Local Government Councils in the State.
Ismaila Uba Misilli Director-General Press Affairs Government House Gombe made this known in a statement yesterday.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who conveyed the Governor’s approval, announced the new appointees as follows: Abubakar Usman Barambu – Akko LGA; Garba Umar Garus – Balanga LGA; Margret Bitrus – Billiri LGA
(iv) Jamilu Ahmed Shabewa – Dukku LGA; Ibrahim Adamu Cheldu – Funakaye LGA; Aliyu Usman Haruna – Gombe LGA
and Faruk Aliyu Umar – Kaltungo LGA.
Others include Ibrahim Buba – Kwami LGA; Salisu Shu’aibu Dendele – Nafada LGA; Yohanna Nahari – Shongom LGA and Garba Usman – Y/Deba LGA.
According to the SSG, all the appointments take immediate effect.
