Gombe govt urges residents to pay water bills

Commissioner ministry of water, environment and forest resources in Gombe state Hon. Mohammad Saidu Fawu has urged residents to pay water bills.
He said water supply which has been a daily routine activities for government is to ensure that residents acquire portable drinking water.
The commissioner who lamented non payment of water bills by residents in the state also highlighted how government spent money to procure portable drinking water for residents.
Hon Fawu stated this in an interview with our correspondent on Monday in his office.
He decried that alot of funds was spent at the Dadin-kowa dam since the present administration came on board in 2019 and inherited a backlog of over N4billion from the past administration.
