The commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Gombe state command Mr. Muhammad Bello Mua’zu said the command will work towards engaging the media in its legitimate functions.
He said the partnership is paramount to acquire adequate security.
He made this known on Monday in Gombe while meeting with practising Journalists in the state for the first time.
“Our priority was to engage the media who are custodian in any field”, adding that, without the support of the media there would be no development.
“As I speak to you right now, my doors are open for any clarification. I will not relent to involve Journalists in our day to day activities”, he added.
According to him, all hands must be on deck to fight the menace of insecurity.
