The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe state command has warned unlicensed private security outfits and Guards to stay away from their illegal Operations.

This was contained in a press release by the command Public Relations Officer SC Buhari Saad  on Monday.

It said the state command revealed that  individuals and organizations are operating illegally without obtaining necessary licences and approval required by law.

This direct violation of the Private Guards companies Act Cap (1990) section 3 and subsection ( b), (c) i, ii, NSCDC Act 2003 as amended 2007 mandated all Private security organizations to registered and obtain licences from the federal government through the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

It added that unlienced operations posed serious threat to the public as they lack proper training.
