Gov. Badaru Commissions N11.8m Jigawa Fadama House

The Jigawa state governor Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Badaru yesterday commissioned the N11.8 million renovated Jigawa Fadama house.
The governor who was represented by his deputy Barrister Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia said that the project was funded by the World Bank in their effort to support farming activities in the state.
He explained that, as part of present administration effort to boost the economy, a special priority was given to the Agricultural sector within its two years in office.
According to him, governor Badaru in his two years in office succeeded in prompt payment of over, 140 million as 2014,2015,2016 and 2017 counter fund to the World Bank Fadama office which lead to the released of over one billion for Jigawa state Fadama programme.
Governor Badaru maintained that, with support of this fund,over 50,000 farmers were empowered through the cluster farming programme.
He then warned the monitors of the programme to avoid using politics while distributing the Agricultural equipment provided by the Fadama III in the state.
While speaking at the commissioning, the Jigawa state coordinator Fadama III financing project, Alhaji Aminu Isah Ringim appreciated the state government effort towards supporting Fadama III programme to success.
He said, though the commissioned Jigawa Fadama house is not new building but, the building is older than Jigawa state and has accommodated all Fadama projects offices for over twenty years ago.
Ringim then, commended governor Badaru ‘s effort toward agricultural sector in the state and assured more commitments for ensuring food security in Jigawa state.
