Niger State Governor has pledged to give out scholarships to outstanding students from public schools to study at the Abdulkadir Abdullahi Kure University of Education Minna.
Governor Bago made the disclosure during the inauguration of 16 man principal officers of the Engineer AA Kure university of education led by its pro-Chancellor, professor Mohammed Yahaya Kuta at the government house minna.
Governor Bago said the state needed to wake up in times of educational standards, as well as contributing immensely to the growth and development of the state.
The Pro-chancellor, Professor Mohammed Yahaya Kuta applauded the governor’s effort in revamping the educational sector.
He assured government of meeting the yarnings of the state towards building a new Niger.
