The Niger state Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago has reassured Ibrahim Babangida University Lapai (IBBUL), of adequate support and funding to strive better in service delivery as an institution of higher learning in the state.
The governor stated this at the opening of a 2 day retreat for members of the IBBUL governing council and other management staff of the university at Maizube Farms, Minna.
He dismissed alleged plan to dislocate the institution, following the administration’s establishment of the Abdulkadir Kure University Minna, explaining that his administration is working towards strengthening the institution to make it one of the best world-class centre of excellence in Nigeria.
