Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has revealed that his administration will continue to invest heavily in the procurement of security equipment to tackle the security challenges bedeviling the State.
Governor Bago stated this when he paid Sallah homage to the Emir of Kagara, Alh. Ahmed Attahiru Gunna at his palace in Kagara.
He disclosed that his administration has so far sunk lots of money in purchasing sophisticated gadgets that would aid in tackling insecurity in the State head-on.
He than condole with the Emir and the entire people of the Emirate over the recent killings in the Madaka Community by bandits, assuring that his administration is working round the clock to ensure that security is tightened in the State.
The governor described the Emir of Kagara as a selfless leader whose efforts in developing the Emirate remain undaunted pointing out that his administration will continue to strengthen the already existing relationship with traditional institutions.
