Gov. Bago to train 10,000 female doctors in Niger State

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago has said his administration has concluded plans to train 10,000 female medical doctors for the next ten years in the state.
He also revealed that the present administration will provide one million computers and tablets for all the public schools in the state.
The Governor made this known when he addressed the North Central traditional and religious leaders conference on the significance of Girls Child education organized by the federal ministry of education in collaboration with the state ministry of basic and secondary education.
Governor Bago stated that he will further provide free internet services to all the primary, and secondary school in the state to make education easier and interesting for the students.
In his address, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, assured of his commitment to promoting and supporting girls child education in Northern Nigeria and commended Niger state Governor for the ongoing projects by his administration.
