Gov Bagudu’s campaign chairman vows to screen future guber aspirants

The second term campaign Chairman for Governor Atiku Abubkar Bagudu of Kebbi State, Alhaji Kabir Sani Jayant has said that all candidates seeking for the Governorship election in the forthcoming 2023 general election will undergo screening before they will be allowed to purchase any of the political parties nominations forms.
He stated this on Sunday while addressing journalists shortly after a stakeholders meeting held at the eid-kabir prayer ground, saying that politicians are becoming wanting in their promises and actions, which he said the elite in the state cannot tolerate anymore.
Kabir Janyat said “we most know what you have done to your own constituency before you will be allowed to purchase any nominations form, we are making a synergy between the traditional rulers, religious leaders and teachers to screen any candidate who wishes to contest for any elective positions”.
He expressed dismay over the way and manner the present administration is governing the state, while urging people to remain calm as they are working hard to ensure that they bring out credible candidates that can lead the state into the promise land in the next election.
“We are not happy with the way things are moving on in the state, the people are suffering, the party members have been abandoned and the politicians, we are ready to leave the party if nothing is done now”, he added.
“You see, we suffered for this government and he did not recognize us, no any appointments, rather he will give us the contract, we are tired of someone using us politically and dumping us, we want support from the people in order for us to make changes”, he said.
