The Executive Governor of Yobe State Hon. Mai Mala Buni on Monday received in audience with the Acting Commander
SECTOR 2 (Joint Task Force ( Northeast) Operation HADIN Kai, Brigadier General BMG Martins.
A statement signed by Buni’s DG Press and Media Affairs, Mamman Mohammed, said the governor assured the Acting Commander of support from the government and people of Yobe state for peace and security to reign across the state.
“The state government is committed to working with the security agencies for us to have a lasting peace and security across the state.”
He expressed confidence in the capacity of the Acting Commander, assuring him of of support from the government and people of the state.
Earlier, the Acting Commander solicited for support from the people of the state. In a statement released in Kaduna yesterday, the Foundation’s Director-General, Abubakar Umar, said the event is designed to also bridge the gap between policy implementation and public perception, dispel misinformation, and address misconceptions about the administration’s initiatives.
“As the country continues to navigate its development challenges, such events are crucial in promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance,” Umar said.
He added that the session will feature high-level presentations and interactive sessions with key Federal Government representatives, focusing on critical sectors such as national security, agriculture and food security, infrastructure and social services, and governance and economy.
