Gov Sule commends Covid:19 effort in Nasarawa

Nasarawa state Governor Engr. Abdullahi Sule has commended the tremendous contribution of the Coalition Against Covid-19 Cacovid 19 in the provision of relief materials to the less privilege in Nasarawa State, assuring that the food items will be shared to the targeted individuals across the 13 local government councils of the state.
Gov. Sule who sounded the applauds Tuesday during the flag off ceremony of Cacovid 19 food relief programme held at the central store UAC Road Lafia the State capital.
According to him “1st July 2020, we gathered at the government house and distributed over 35 trucks of different food items to every unit to share to the less privilege individuals in order to curtail the hardship of the global Covid 19 pandemic. Today mark the II phase of distribution of food items to our dear people who cannot afford to cater for themselves as a result of Covid 19 pandemic”.
He continued “These food items to be distributed to the 1,495 units across the state and to be shared among the less privilege persons in the society as earmarked. Salary earners, politicians, business men and women are exempted in the process.”
