Nasarawa state Governor Engr Abdullahi Sule has implored security agents in the state to ensure that the presidential and senatorial elections is conducted peacefully across the state.
The Governor, who gave the charge Friday during a security meeting with all security heads in the state; calling on them to adopt measures aimed at the success of the elections during and after the exercise
“I urged the people of the state to adhere to Electoral laws as well as maintain peaceful coexistence at all polling unite”, he added
Governor Sule further applauded the security operatives in the state for their roles played in the sphere of combating crime of all forms in the state as well as asked them to keep it up in order to make the state free of criminality.
He however appealed to religious leaders and traditional rulers to always preach peace to their followers at all times noting that without peace, no meaningful development can strive.
