The Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engr. Abubakar M. Bappah has commended Gombe State governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for awarding abandoned projects neglected by the past administration.
He said the projects were not only awarded but all outstanding bills were settled to enable contractors continue their work.
The commissioner who spoke in an interview with our correspondent, said the contractors at the site are doing wonderfully well to ensure that all the projects awarded by his Excellency are completed in good time.
According to him, the present administration is committed to carrying out its functions by fulfilling it’s campaign promises.
